Missions Aviation

A degree in missions aviation combines your passion for spreading the Gospel with your aptitude for air travel. You will graduate with biblical and intercultural experience along with either aircraft maintenance or piloting instruction through the School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT), a nationally accredited aviation school.

Our graduates from the missions aviation program go on to utilize their flight and ministry skills in a number of ministries, from missionary networks to schools. You will graduate from this program prepared to become a missionary aviator for a number of different organizations.

The missions aviation program at Cornerstone is designed to inspire your intellect, deepen your character and prepare you to lead in your career with influence and wisdom.

Advanced Standing at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary

Missions aviation majors have the opportunity to qualify for advanced standing at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. This gives you the option to apply up to 24 of your bachelor’s degree credits towards a master’s degree in divinity, ministry, biblical studies or counseling. This is a useful way to complete up to 25% of your master’s degree before graduating from Cornerstone.

The Bible professors at CU challenged me to figure out what I believe and why I believe in the context of theological issues. In both my personal life and spiritual life, I grew immensely.
