Cornerstone University Board of Trustees Elects Two New Members

Busch is the vice president and general manager of Optical Solutions at Molex, LLC, located in Downers Grove, Ill. He graduated from Cornerstone University in 1993 (Summa Cum Laude) and went on to complete an M.B.A. at the Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame (Cum Laude). Busch has served as the Vice President of Molex since June 2009. His passion is to rally great people to fulfill the vision for their organization and build effective, driven teams that deliver growth and innovation.
Outside the company, Busch has served as Cornerstone's Alumni Board President, has been involved in the University of Notre Dame's Alumni Association, the St. Joseph Valley (Ind.) Alumni Board and KIN Global (Kellogg Innovation Network at Northwestern University). He also invests his time outside of work serving through teaching and leadership in his church (Grace Pointe Church, Naperville, Ill.) and coaching his kids in sports and life.
McDonald is a partner of JoNa Capital Partners located in Ada, Mich. He graduated from Cornerstone University in 2007 with a degree in business. After graduation, he worked in private wealth management at BYN Mellon Corporation and worked at Huntington Bank. Recently, he launched JoNa Capital Partners with Nate Spoelman. JoNa Capital Partners invests in small middle market companies as well as commercial and residential real estate. Joe enjoys utilizing his business and finance background to evaluate investment opportunities.
Joe and his wife Ashley were married in 2007 and now have four sons and one daughter (recently born in May). In his free time, Joe enjoys coaching soccer, playing golf, cooking, hunting, traveling and spending time outdoors.
