The human experience is complex and beautiful. Explore the history of what it means to be human through the lens of writers from around the globe and across centuries. Insight into the form, style and function in which these authors wrote will enhance your understanding of history, sociology and the written word.

Humanities Division Annual Seminar

The Humanities Division provides students from all academic divisions with an annual seminar to discuss topics such as an era of poetry or influential thinkers. This seminar experience also includes an opportunity to study abroad in Oxford, England.

Cornerstone professors inspire me to be creative by challenging me. They encourage me to do my best in assignments while also giving me the tools necessary to think through problems.
