The social work major prepares you to walk alongside people and help them cope with their living situations. Cornerstone graduates can be found aiding the elderly and their families as they navigate changes in assisted care situations, facilitating adoptions and providing safe shelters for victims of abuse and neglect.

Field Practicum

Program Accreditation and Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes

Cornerstone’s social work program is fully accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. As such, you will be eligible for state licensure and advanced standing in accredited graduate social work programs. Students in advanced standing programs can often complete their master’s degree in one full year.
