Susan Burner has had a life-long love of music. While a student at Cornerstone University, this love grew to be inclusive of serving in ministry as she led a chapel team and studied for a bachelor's degree in worship arts. Her time at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Formation increased her passion for the spiritual formation of college students, specifically in the areas of worship, discipleship and service.
In her role at Cornerstone, Susan gets to offer opportunities for students in these spiritually formative areas by overseeing chapel programming and discipleship opportunities. She also enjoys mentoring a variety of student leaders to help them grow in their faith and ministry capacity.
"Serving at Cornerstone matters to me because it was a place where I experienced deep spiritual transformation when I was in college. I am passionate about creating a Christ-centered environment where students from all backgrounds can increase their understanding of Scripture, grow in their love for God and be formed in their faith, causing them to live gospel-centered lives that glorify God."
