 Rebecca Dull - 2013 graduating theatre major

Rebecca Dull, theatre major

  • Favorite show at CU: The 1940s Radio Hour (Props Mistress)
  • Favorite CU Theatre trip: "New York City. It was my first time to see so many Broadway shows and I loved the city."
  • Favorite Bible verse: Jeremiah 29:11
  • Plans upon graduation: Moving to the Detroit area and looking for a job at a local or regional theatre.
  • Dreams for the future: "I want to take some community Ed courses to become more adept in making props (upholstery, welding, drawing, etc.)"

 Shane Hurst

 Shane Hurst, theatre major

  • Favorite show at CU: You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
  • Favorite CU Theatre trip: "New York City. NYC is the city I love; the shows, the history and the lifestyle are all so inspiring."
  • Favorite Bible verse: Matthew 5
  • Plans upon graduation: Performing in Circle Theatre's The Wedding Singer in May, an Ohio Summer Stock production of Shrek the Musical in the latter half of the summer, and NYC bound come August!
  • Dreams for the future: Continue acting, dancing, singing or even choreographing as a career.

 Kirk Laing, theatre major

  • Favorite show at CU: The 1940s Radio Hour (Stage Manager)
  • Favorite CU Theatre trip: "NYC! So fun to see a bunch of shows and to see Wicked in the front row!"
  • Favorite Bible verse: Psalm 103
  • Plans upon graduation: Currently stage managing Circle Theatre's The Wedding Singer and later the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre's The 12 Dancing Princesses.
  • Dreams for the future: To attend graduate school for his M.F.A. in Stage Management and teach at the college level.
Joy Besely - 2013 graduating theatre major

 Joy Besely, theatre minor

  • Favorite show at CU: The 1940s Radio Hour (Ginger)
  • Favorite CU Theatre trip: "The trip to Stratford, Canada this past fall was a wonderful weekend full of my favorite things – comedy, musicals and Shakespeare."
  • Favorite Bible verse: Isaiah 26:3
  • Plans upon graduation: Finding a full-time job in communications, spending time with her husband and enjoying not having homework!
  • Dreams for the future: "I would love to stay involved with theatre, whether that be in the community or at my church or other venues. Drama, music and dancing are my passions and I want to keep those alive."
