Communication is the core component of every human interaction. Developing the skills, knowledge and attitudes of communication through aural and visual channels continues to be the extremely attractive to employers. The division exists to equip and mentor students to engage the marketplace of ideas in strategic and creative ways as skilled professionals and agents of reconciliation who seek to influence their culture.

From Ideation to Engagement

Through studies in a range of applied disciplines within communication, journalism and the digital media art forms, students will develop into informed storytellers of excellence and influence.

Graduates carry with them the ability to employ valued communication theory in their specialized areas, evaluate and discern the ethical practices of communication, and present mastery of skills with professional expertise. You'll demonstrate proficiency in the analysis and interpretation of popular culture, with leadership, creativity and integrity.
