Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership

CU Online

The Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership degree is designed for those in ministry leadership positions who want advanced biblical, theological and ministry education to promote personal, spiritual and professional growth, and cannot reasonably attend classes on campus.

The 36 credit hour M.A. in Ministry Leadership degree is cohort-based, which means that groups of 15-20 students journey through the program together.  The program curriculum contains a core of Bible, theology and ministry courses with opportunities for specialization through elective courses.

Benefits

The MA in Ministry Leadership degree…

Courses

The M.A. in Ministry Leadership program offers flexibility that full-time ministry leaders need.  The program consists of 36-semester hours and is designed as a distance education program allowing all of the 12 courses to be completed online.

Students are required to take the six core classes in the cohort model in the order outlined below (core classes are in bold).  In addition to the six core classes, students can take the remaining six classes at their own pace within 6 years from matriculation.  All classes may be taken one at a time or students can increase their course load as desired.
