Dr. McDonald’s role at Cornerstone includes teaching psychology and family studies courses, overseeing psychology and family studies internships, advising and mentoring students, ensuring program accessibility for students with disabilities, overseeing the Accommodations Review Committee, and working to educate the community on disability-related matters. She was recognized in 2009 with Cornerstone’s Faculty Teaching Award. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, mixed-media art, athletics, Lake Michigan beaches, traveling and exploring new places. Even though she earned degrees from Michigan State, Dr. McDonald is a U of M fan at heart. She also takes over 100 photos almost every day.
