The Golden Eagle Day Schedule

9 a.m. | Welcome to CU
Faculty, staff, current students and President Joe Stowell greet you and provide an overview of faith, life and learning at Cornerstone.

10 a.m. | Chapel
Worship is a central part of life at Cornerstone. We gather together to remember what matters most, to connect and to re-center amidst the business of the week. Gathering with one another in the faith is one of the reasons our community is so closely knit together. Join in one of our chapel services and experience that fellowship for yourself.

11 a.m. | Explore CU Options
Jump right in to an actual class in your major of interest, take a tour of campus or attend a financial aid workshop to learn about all of the Cornerstone scholarships available to you and the step-by-step details for financing your college education.

12 p.m. | CU Excel
Connect with the professors and current students who will help you reach your academic aspirations. This time is reserved exclusively to meet the faculty and upperclassmen in your academic division and major.

12:30 p.m. | Lunch
Feeling at home at your university is about so much more than classes. Where you live and what you eat is a big part of the experience. Come get a taste of CU's Dining Commons. You can eat lunch with a student ambassador and get a more personal sense of what the day-in and day-out life looks like for a Golden Eagle.

1:30 p.m. | Explore CU Options
Here's another opportunity to visit a class, tour campus or attend a financial aid workshop. Design the day around the parts of college that feel most important to you.

3 p.m. | Meet Admissions
Close the day with some one-on-one time with an admissions counselor and ask any remaining questions you have about academics, finances, campus life, leadership opportunities, off-campus study programs or the city of Grand Rapids. We will send you back home with a special gift from our city.

Stay in a Residence Hall

Lots of prospective students choose to spend the night in a residence hall with a couple of Cornerstone students, getting a more personal experience of the campus and the beautiful city of Grand Rapids. All overnight stays are scheduled for the evening before a Golden Eagle Day.

Parents, Cornerstone has also put together a list of recommended hotels and discounted accommodations for your convenience.
