About Artie Lindsay

Artie M. Lindsay, Sr., was elected to the board in 2016 and serves on the Student Development and Adult Learning committees.

Lindsay earned a baccalaureate degree in political science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Theological Studies from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. In 2002, he helped plant a multi-ethnic congregation, Tabernacle Community Church, in the Alger Heights neighborhood of Grand Rapids, where he continues to serve as a teaching pastor. He and his wife, Raquel, live in Grand Rapids.
