About Joseph Stowell

Joseph M. Stowell was elected president of Cornerstone University in 2008. In his role as president he is also a member of the board and serves as an ex officio member of the board's subcommittees.

Stowell earned an undergraduate degree from Cedarville University, a Master of Theology degree (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary and an honorary doctorate from the Master's College in 1987 and from Huntington University in 2011. He has had a distinguished career in pastoral ministry and Christian higher education administration. He and his wife, Martie, live in Ada, Mich.
