About Mark Campbell

Mark G. Campbell was elected to the board in 2000 and serves on the Academic Affairs and Adult Learning committees.

Campbell earned two undergraduate degrees, in biochemistry and art, from Michigan State University and went on to complete a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Wayne State University as well as a Fellowship in Medical Oncology. In addition, he earned a Master in Health Care Administration from the University of Colorado and a Master of Theological Studies from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.

Campbell is the president of the Cancer & Hematology Centers of West Michigan, a physician group that services a network of community hospitals throughout Western Michigan. He resides in Ada, Mich., with his wife, Martha.

"Montaigne reminded us that 'we can be knowledgeable with other men's knowledge, but we can't be wise with other men's wisdom.' Wisdom comes from God alone via His Word. Deuteronomy 11:18-19 makes it clear that God wants us to fix His words on the hearts and minds of our children so that they might be wise. I love the passion that Cornerstone exudes to see graduates impacting our world for Christ."
