Verna Miller Hall is the place where CU serves its students by providing a counseling center, health services department, and learning center. You’ll want to make sure you know how to find this place once you’re on campus – at Cornerstone we want to make sure students are pursuing healthy lifestyles.
Counseling services, called The Well, seek to enable students to consider a Christ-centered education by learning stewardship of the body, mind and spirit. They provide quality professional care to assist students in individual, pre-marital, marital, and group counseling.
Within health services, students have access to basic care for injury and illness, consultation opportunities with a registered nurse, travel health information and immunizations, yearly flu shots, and community blood drives.
The Learning Center serves as a free resource to all students. Services include tutoring, study groups, and writing assistance. Additionally, the learning center will provide help and guidance to students with physical or learning disabilities. Services include testing accommodations and academic books in alternative formats.
