Healthy Eating Around the Clock.

Cornerstone University Food Service offers a wide variety of meal choices, working to stay on top of the latest culinary trends and techniques, while also maintaining traditional favorites. The 2011 remodel of the Dining Commons expanded our facility, creating new serving stations to accompany our soup, salad, deli, and hot entrée buffet.

For Breakfast, we offer a made-to-order omelet bar, two hot entrées with sides, and a waffle bar. At Lunch and Supper, the Chef’s Choice serves as our presentation cooking station where chefs work with fresh ingredients to create unique dishes. Joe’s Pizzeria is home to our stone-fired pizza oven where our artisans work with homemade dough and our own specialty sauces to create a variety of delectable pies. Our Deli offers a self-serve Panini grill and features a daily hot sandwich or sub and sides along with traditional cold cut selections.

The Dining Commons is open from 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday through Friday and offers five meal options. On weekends, three meals are offered at traditional meal times.

Golden Eagle Cafe

Located in the Corum Student Union, the Golden Eagle Cafe is a popular gathering place between classes. Serving up a variety of beverages, including hot or iced coffees or lattes, teas, and fountain drinks, everyone is sure to find their favorite beverage and never tire of sampling the seasonal specials. 
The Cafe also provides Grab n’ Go meal options for those students on the go, between classes, or for late night snacking. Our Grab n’ Go menu includes a selection of sandwiches, bagels, fruit, cookies/granola bars, chips, and hummus.

Please Note: During the academic year, the Golden Eagle Cafe is closed from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in observance of chapel.

Special Dietary Needs

We at Food Service know and understand that there are many allergies and food sensitivities that limit a person’s ability to find food in a cafeteria setting. To help everyone create meal options to fit their particular needs, our chefs will meet with students and assist them in creating a weekly menu based off the main menu posted for that week.

We now offer extensive options for Vegetarian, Dairy Free, and Gluten Free dietary needs. All vegetables are steamed, cooked in vegetable broth, or pan roasted unless otherwise noted.
