Chapel: Mario Adkins

At Cornerstone University, we are compelled and inspired by Jesus Christ. Chapel exists as an intentional space to gather together as a community in the midst of the busy seasons of college life. Cornerstone teaches its students to be thoughtful and intentional about their Christian growth, and chapel provides an opportunity to integrate faith and learning as a larger community.

Our traditional undergraduate chapel services use a lectionary adapted specifically for colleges by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church to study the large narrative of Scripture. On March 9, Mario Adkins, assistant director of academic success, will give a teaching based on Mark 12:38-44.

Chapel services are open to prospective students and their families, alumni, friends of the university and members of the area community.
