The Center for Career and Life Calling partners with employers, alumni, faculty, and staff to ensure you student builds a life that matters. By intentionally equipping your student with the tools and experiences to identify and pursue their life calling through our LifePath process, your student will be able to more fully maximize his or her potential as an influencer for Christ in our world.
Building Upon the Framework of Your Student's Life Path
Support in articulating your student's LifePath begins as soon as he or she submits a tuition deposit to Cornerstone University, maximizing time available to your family when you arrive on campus to embark on the first semester. Here's an initial preview.
As an intentional, foundational aspect of Cornerstone University's distinct LifePath program, every enrolled student receives Finding Your Way: Discovering the Truth About You by Webster and Gravitt. Scheduled as a pre-semester read, this text prepares the newest members of our community to gain an accurate understanding of their unique, God-given design and communicate well the distinct elements of their stories in conversation. With implications for orientation and advising and selection of major concentrations, this will serve as a foundational resource for the transition into a series of years of career preparation through undergraduate studies and the many conversations (and cups of coffee) to follow.
From Welcome Day until graduation (and the years following), these components of your student's Cornerstone experience will allow him or her to apply concepts and knowledge of self into proactive responses and effective employment search strategies through...
