Howard City, Michigan
Business Management | I chose economics and business administration because I am fascinated with economic theories, the philosophy of many economists, and most areas of business. I declared my majors in my sophomore year.
Starting and running my own business has always been a dream of mine. I hope to use the knowledge and experiences that I gain from Cornerstone to enter the workforce with confidence and a passion to impact the world for Christ through the inner workings of a business.
Initial Impression of CU
The establishment of the new baseball team had a heavy influence on my decision to come to Cornerstone. I had always wanted to attend and play baseball at a Christian University. When CU introduced the team my freshman year I felt a strong calling to this school.
My favorite professor is Dr. Stamm because of the conversations that we are able to have outside of the classroom. He is invested in my life and cares about my future.
Free Time Rhythm
I enjoy staying active, playing a round of golf with some friends, reading a good book, trying new food, exploring cities, and of course drinking coffee.

Reflection on Spiritual Growth in the Last Year
Favorite Part of CU
Most definitely the opportunity that Cornerstone offers to make life long friends through the close-knit community and God centered campus.
Best Spot on Campus
My favorite spot on campus is the cafeteria. Not only is the food great, but many of the memories made and conversations that took place there will never be forgotten.
Top Spot in Grand Rapids
My favorite place in Grand Rapids is on the pedestrian bridge over the river.
Thoughts on Terra Firma
Terra Firma put me in a position where I was able to intentionally grow individually and relationally. I met a life long friend and have some of my most fun college memories in Terra Firma.
Perspective on Financial Aid and Closing the Gap
Without the help of financial aid, I would not be able to study at Cornerstone. Not only have they helped me maximize the amount of my aid, they helped me create payment plans that specifically meet my needs. They truly do want to help.
Advice for Future Students
Enjoy the little things about the college experience because when it is all said and done it is the little things that are remembered.
