Leapin' lizards! The musical "Annie" is coming to Cornerstone University.

Harold Gray's beloved comic strip heroine takes center stage in "Annie," one of the world's best-loved musicals. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 15-18, 2018.

Little orphan Annie uses her pluck and positivity to charm the hearts of all she meets, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago at an orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. She embarks on adventures throughout NYC, including a stay at billionaire Oliver Warbucks' mansion for the holidays. Annie wins the hearts of Warbucks, his staff and even President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, with the aid of a lovable mutt named Sandy. Meanwhile, Miss Hannigan, in partnership with her brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily, attempt to make some money out of this unique situation. The stories become intertwined as Annie's story hits the national spotlight.

This family-friendly musical is presented in collaboration with stageGR and is the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. With book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin, this production features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written.
