Dr. Stan Gundry has served as an adjunct professor of historical theology at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary for over 10 years. When called upon, Dr. Gundry teaches seminary students the History of Twentieth Century American Evangelicalism.

Dr. Gundry received his Bachelor of Arts from Los Angeles Baptist College, his Bachelor of Divinity from Talbot Theological Seminary, his Master of Sacred Theology from Union College of British Columba and his Doctor of Philosophy from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He is the author of seven books, a member of the American Society of Church History and the Evangelical Theological Society. In 1980, Zondervan hired Dr. Gundry to lead its academic publishing program, and he is currently the senior vice president and publisher of Zondervan Academic as well as editor-in-chief of Zondervan Publishing.

Dr. Gundry has taught theology and church history at the college and seminary levels for over 50 years. He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife, Patrica. They have four adult children.
