Now that you are enrolled, please register for one of the virtual orientation dates below. If you don’t see an orientation happening prior to your first day of class (or during your first week of class), please contact your academic advisor.

All students are expected to attend a virtual orientation before their first day of classes. To access your class schedule, log in to your student account through Self Service.

2024 Orientation Dates

M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership & Development students should register for orientation/residency here.

Students in all other degree programs should register for virtual orientation below.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is covered during orientation?

Various topics will be covered during orientation including how to use Self Service, tips for academic success and technology training (i.e., using Moodle, MyCornerstone and other resources).

Is there an option for an in-person orientation?

Unless otherwise noted, all orientation days will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams. Upon registration for orientation, you will receive the orientation link.

What if a schedule conflict comes up?

If you are unable to attend an orientation you previously registered for, please contact your enrollment counselor to be canceled from the event. At that time, your enrollment counselor can help you register for an alternative orientation.

How do I join the virtual orientation?

The access link to join orientation will be provided in your registration confirmation email.

Is it best to join orientation by phone or computer?

We find that students learn best when they attend orientation on their computer. We recommend finding a quiet space where you can login to your CU accounts and follow along.
