The Sonlight High School and University Choir and Drama Team, a 60-voice team from Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, will be traveling to Grand Rapids this July to complete various acts of ministry work.

The group will be featured in Christ Chapel on the campus of Cornerstone University on Thursday, July 7 at 7 p.m. The team will perform spiritual songs, power anthems, scripture setting and interpretive movement. The concert is free to the general public. Free parking is also available.

They will be volunteering at Alpine Elementary School, Guiding Light Ministries, United Church Outreach Ministries, Inner City Christian Federations and Dégagé Ministries.

During their stay, the group will also perform at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Elmcroft at Kentwood Retirement Center, Aurora Pond Independent Living Center, Heron Manor Independent Living Center, Christ Chapel at Cornerstone University and Lincoln Square Independent Living Center.

The group will then travel to Chicago, Ill., to serve and perform at Uptown Baptist Church and Moody Church.
