Bible, Religion & Ministry Scholarships

Cornerstone University awards the following scholarships to traditional undergraduate students in the Bible, Religion & Ministry Division. Cornerstone does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, sex, age or disability in its policies and programs.

Award Descriptions

Bertha Dewey Stock Memorial Scholarship

The Bertha Dewey Stock Memorial Scholarship assists married students seeking full-time ministry careers. Applicants must have completed 60+ credits, demonstrate financial need and upload a summary describing their future plans for full-time ministry.

Esther Gilbertson Scholarship

The Esther Gilbertson Scholarship assists returning ministry major students who are preparing for full-time Christian ministry and have maintained a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. Applicants must upload a summary describing their future plans for full-time ministry.

Kent and Hazel Hager Endowment

The Kent and Hazel Hager Endowment assists students preparing for full-time Christian work. Applicants must have completed 58+ credits, maintained a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. and upload a summary describing their future plans for full-time ministry.

Robert and Ruth Lanting Student Endowment

The Robert and Ruth Lanting Student Endowment provides assistance to students who are interested in Christian ministry or missions work and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must upload a summary describing their future plans for full-time ministry or missions work.

Bernie and Marge Mollema Multicultural Ministry Scholarship

The Bernie and Marge Mollema Multicultural Ministry Scholarship assists students planning to enter full-time multicultural ministry; preference is given to those planning a ministry to the Hispanic culture. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. and upload a summary describing their future plans for full-time multicultural ministry, being sure to include what culture they plan to minister to.

Lukas Squires Memorial Scholarship

The Lukas Squires Memorial Scholarship assists undergraduates with a desire to work with youth, such as youth ministry; preference is given to those who have overcome personal hardship and have a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. Applicants must upload a typed letter detailing the personal hardship they have overcome and a summary describing their future plan for full-time ministry.

Brian Wright Memorial Scholarship

The Brian Wright Memorial Scholarship assists an undergraduate male student who is preparing for full-time ministry. Preference is given to those who plan to attend seminary. Applicants must have 58+ credits completed and upload a summary about why they feel called to ministry.
