Check Your Status

Prior to rejoining a program or advancing your education, you’ll work with your readmission specialist or enrollment counselor to confirm your status as a student. Your academic advisor will help you determine which course you can jump into. Your student financial services specialist will help you navigate next steps in case you have a balance from your previous studies. The Registrar’s Office will also confirm that we have all your transcripts needed or if we’ll need to request any of your transcripts.

Complete the Student Financial Success Guide

Begin your program on the right financial track by completing your Student Financial Success Guide. This form provides important information about financial policies and the use of financial aid. You’ll also be able to indicate your payment method(s).

Reserve Your Spot

If you are returning to PGS after over a year with fewer than 99 credits, you’ll need to submit a reservation fee. This fee saves your spot and shows your commitment to pursuing your goals with a degree. In this reservation fee form, you’ll provide your contact information and payment information. Remember that if you choose to pay by debit or credit card, there’s a small 2.5% processing fee ($0.75). After submitting your reservation fee, you’ll receive an email to confirm your payment.

Important Dates

We’re here to help you stay on track throughout the enrollment process. Here are some important dates to keep in mind.

FAFSA Deadline

Your FAFSA may be completed at any time. However, to be eligible to receive the Michigan Tuition Grant (MTG) you must file your FAFSA by March 1, 2021. You’ll need to complete the FAFSA each year.

I was a doubter, didn’t have confidence in myself to be able to finish school and really had a mental block since my youth that this would never be possible. This entire process at PGS showed me over and over God’s love and provision in my life. Cornerstone has been wonderful to accommodate the situations in my life.

Things To Know

Program Start Dates

Cornerstone University’s Professional & Graduate Studies programs use rolling admission, which means that a new cohort can start at anytime of the year once there are enough students to start a new group. To see when the program you’re interested in is scheduled to start, see our degree program pages or connect with our enrollment team.

Official Transcripts

If you have attended Cornerstone within the last five years, we’ll still have your transcripts on file that you’ve previously submitted. If you have attended any other schools prior to readmitting to Cornerstone, you’ll need to request those transcripts as well.

If you’ve been away from Cornerstone for more than five years, we’ll need to restart your file and request transcripts again.

Financial Aid Options

Building your future with a degree is an investment in yourself and in your potential. Overcome those obstacles you once thought were in your way with the help of financial aid resources. Through sharing financial aid options of loans, grants and other resources like scholarships, military benefits and employer reimbursements, we’re committed to helping you discover your path forward with financial confidence.

Meet Your Readmission and Retention Specialist

Our student success team is passionate about serving you as you pursue your next step. Your readmission and retention specialist is eager to engage in conversations as you share what motivates you to take your next step and provide encouragement in ensuring that this is an investment you are not only capable of but also is in a space where you can thrive.
