Homecoming &
Family Weekend 2021
For the first time in two years, Cornerstone University is thrilled to host Homecoming & Family Weekend back on campus and in person. During Oct. 22-24, 2021, take the opportunity to reconnect with your classmates and faculty members and take part in lots of fun activities your whole family can enjoy. This year, we also have the privilege of hosting the inauguration ceremony of our 12th president, Gerson Moreno-Riaño, Ph.D., on that same weekend.

Friendship Sports International BOGO Weekend
Cornerstone University is a community that rallies around one another. We are also passionate about the greater community around us. That’s why we have partnered with Friendship Sports International (FSI) to put on a Buy One, Give One drive. For every item purchased, whether it’s a T-shirt, hat or pair of designer socks, FSI will donate one pair of socks to Mel Trotter Ministries, Degage or Matthew’s House. These three ministries will offer these to those in need during the cold winter months. Athletes will personally deliver these items and donate their time to these shelters.
Campus Map
We will have several open parking lots for you to conveniently park each day. Take a look at the campus map to see which lots will be available and where.
Lodging
Cornerstone is just a short drive from several local hotels, including several located downtown. See the list of hotels below. For a discounted rate, mention Cornerstone University when you book a room.
Explore the City of Grand Rapids
If you’re coming in from out of state, why not enjoy all that Grand Rapids has to offer in the fall? Take a family trip to Robinette’s, take in the fall colors at a local park, or enjoy a cup of hot chocolate from Haggerty’s. There’s so much to do and explore, you might even want to add an extra day or two to your trip.
