Summer Online Classes

Summer classes are an affordable way to continue your education when the academic year is over. As an undergraduate student, you can take some of your core classes over the summer in order to make more space for your major-specific courses in the fall—and even graduate earlier. Summer online classes are also available to high school students.

Apply

If you are a current high school student with more than four semesters completed or a current undergraduate student, you may apply for summer online classes here. The deadline for applying is May 1.

Send Transcripts

High school and college students looking to apply for summer online classes must have a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. (2.0 for college students.) Send your transcripts to the Traditional Undergraduate Admissions Office to apply.

Create A New Student Account

If you are a high school student interested in taking summer online classes, you must create a new student account on our website as a dual enroll student. If you are an undergraduate college student, you must register as a non-degree seeking student.

Things To Know

Classes Available to High School Students

As a high school student, you can take some of your core classes now to get ahead early. You’ll save time and money by completing courses at home and earn credits toward your degree, even if you don’t end up attending Cornerstone.

Classes Available to Current Students

If you’re a current student at Cornerstone, you can also take core classes over the summer without having to be on campus. An eight-week online class during the summer will cost less and give you more availability to take major-specific classes in the fall.

Admissions Requirements

If you meet the below requirements, you qualify for taking summer online classes.

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Four semesters complete in high school (or in first semester of high school)
  • Interested students should create a new student account and apply as a dual enrollment student.
  • Apply and submit transcripts by May 1
