Curiosity and innovation doesn't have to stop when school breaks for the summer. Cornerstone University offers a number of summer camps for students grades 3-12! Athletes, young entrepreneurs and creative writers will find themselves right at home with our summer programs while being challenged to build on the skills and knowledge that they already have.
The global marketplace is changing fast, and at Cornerstone we believe in preparing students to meet the growing needs of business. Students grades 9-12 and entering college freshmen are invited to join us for Entrepreneurship in a Global Marketplace Camp, a three-day business camp designed for future entrepreneurs and leaders.
This camp offers activities and seminars that will teach you how to creatively solve complex issues, navigate the world of business and more. You can even network with West Michigan entrepreneurs and present in a business plan competition judged by local business professionals! Camp dates for the summer of 2020 have not yet been determined.
Creative Writing Camp
Creativity matters, and we want to help you create something spectacular. Whether you're looking to revamp old ideas or explore new ones, Cornerstone's Creative Writing Camp will provide you with a community space to practice and improve your writing skills.
This three-day camp for high school students and entering college freshmen is led by knowledgable CU faculty and industry professionals. You will have the opportunity to experiment with storytelling in different genres and learn about the publishing and editing industry. There will even be a chance to participate in a writing competition judged by local authors and editors! This camp will run July 7-9, 2020.
At CU, athletics are about more than just the game. It's about representing Christ in everything we do. With the help of dedicated mentors, summer camp participants can improve their skills and their relationship with Christ as they learn how to integrate faith with athletics through good sportsmanship.
From soccer and basketball to volleyball and baseball, interested students have the opportunity to choose from four different sports camps. While not every sport is offered for each grade, a full list of camp dates can be found on the CU Athletics website.
