About the Ministry Minor

A ministry minor requires 18 credit hours. Adding a ministry minor to your four-year plan will prepare you to articulate a Christian worldview and work with various age groups—from children to adults—in a variety of settings.

Required Classes

  • CMI-151: Lifespan Development (3 credit hours)
  • CMI-221: Learning, Liturgy and Technology (3 credit hours)
  • CMI-252: Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Relationships in Ministry (3 credit hours)
  • CMI-481: Counseling Families in Ministry (3 credit hours)
  • Choose two of the following:
    • CMI-222: Poverty and Justice (3 credit hours)
    • CMI-334: Spiritual Formation (3 credit hours)
    • CMI-336: Integrated Leadership (3 credit hours)
    • CMI-480: Current Issues/Critical Concerns (3 credit hours)
