Two Golfers Receive All-Conference Awards

Positive attitudes and team spirit helped the women's golf team finish fifth in the conference. Playing with primarily four players all season a fifth place finish is considered quite an accomplishment. Throughout the season golfers had to play sick or injured just to be able to post team scores. Coach Scott Davis is proud how his team stayed unified and how they showed resiliency throughout the season.
Individually, Sarah Craycraft and Lauren Heemstra both qualified for all-conference honorable mention as freshmen. This is a pretty impressive accomplishment considering Lauren joined the team after the first event and Sarah played on an injured foot during the season.
Sarah also received the Champions of Character award for the team.
