Experience the heart and soul of our campus alongside the entire Cornerstone community through Chapel gatherings. Chapels are much more than Bible study though they deeply explore scriptures and their relevance today. Chapels are thought-provoking, inspiring, challenging and always Biblically grounded! We want you to join everyone on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00 am to worship, learn, share, and refresh. Friday chapels are student-led and you can listen on Spotify. Our Chapel ministry team and special speakers will offer scriptural insights for living a bold, Christ-centered life.
Imagine having someone by your side throughout your college journey, offering guidance, encouragement, and support. The Cornerstone Student Experience offers every student the opportunity to sign up for a mentor at the beginning of each school year. Whether its’ a CU staff member, faculty, upper-level student, or alumnus, your mentor will be there to help you grow spiritually, socially, and vocationally through regular meetings and shared experiences.

These intimate gatherings allow you to explore the impact of God’s word on your daily life while forming lifelong friendships. In small groups, we care for one another through prayer, encouragement, accountability, learning, and support. And your small group leaders are excited to add you to the community and are a vital part of the Cornerstone Student Experience team.
At Cornerstone, we believe that your spiritual journey is unique to you. Grand Rapids is home to hundreds of churches of multiple denominations. Each church is an opportunity for you to get involved and deepen your relationship with God off campus. We are confident that you will find a church home during your time at Cornerstone.
Join us in boldly celebrating God together as a beautiful Christian community. We believe that worship creates unity by praising God for His glory! Our worship teams are passionate, talented, inspiring and student-led. Chapels are must-be-experienced events on campus due in part to the leadership of our worship teams. And, once a month on Sunday evenings, join us for Evensong – student-led prayer and worship events across campus. Throughout the year, Cornerstone will host Christian music artists on campus and those are a fun part of the Cornerstone Student Experience.
