Four Golden Eagles Honored By WHAC Coaches

Four Golden Eagles were honored by the WHAC today. Junior Brooke Carter was named to the All-Conference First Team. Carter recorded 14 double doubles this season and averaged a double double for the season scoring 14.4 ppg and pulling down 10.1 rpg. Robyn Veltkampwas named to the Second Team. Robyn was the third leading scorer on the team averaging 12.6 ppg and she led the team in assists dishing out 4.5 apg for the season. Melissa Veltkamp was named to the Third Team. Tournament Experience Propels Golden Eagles to Win

After receiving the #5 seed of the conference tournament the Golden Eagles came into the game against #4 seed Concordia relying on past tournament sucesses and defeated the Cardinals 65-58. Sophomore Melissa Veltkamp hit a three-pointer after Brooke Carter grabbed an offensive rebound on a missed free-throw to take a three points lead.
