Preparing for Class Registration
Please note that all students should plan to bring a laptop computer with them to their orientation day so that they can be registered for classes.
REGISTRATION FOR ENGLISH AND MATH CLASSES
For English and math class registration, students will either need official ACT/SAT scores on file or results from the Cornerstone University placement tests.
I Have Not Taken the ACT and/or SAT
The ACT and SAT are not required for university admission, but some courses and programs require these test scores in order to place you in the correct English and math courses your first semester at Cornerstone. If you have not taken the ACT or SAT, you will need to take the online Cornerstone placement tests for English and/or math.
I Have Taken the ACT and/or SAT
If you have taken the ACT and/or SAT but have not received your official scores, please contact your admissions counselor and send us your scores as soon as possible so that we can get you registered for the appropriate courses.
If you have taken the ACT and/or SAT and would like to know if we have already received your scores, please contact your admissions counselor.
CLEP, AP & DUAL ENROLLMENT ITEMS
If you have completed CLEP exams, AP courses or have taken college classes for credit, we encourage you to make sure your scores or college transcript(s) are sent to Cornerstone.
If you will be taking tests or are in the process of completing college classes, you can still register for classes without the scores. However, having a record of what you’re working to accomplish will be helpful in completing your student record.
