Cornerstone’s programs offer the ultimate in mobility, flexibility and convenience aspects of learning anytime, anywhere.

Learners access all textbooks and resources preloaded onto the SOAR™ app, with every essential component for completing a your program provided. The program includes pre-selected courses and materials in a highly engaging format, ensuring a seamless learning experience.

SOAR™ is a self-paced learning format that lets students progress one course at a time and complete coursework on their own schedule. With no weekly assignment deadlines, you can move quickly when life allows or slow down during busy periods.

Associate and Bachelor’s students may complete 3–8 courses per term to remain in good standing.
Master’s students may complete 2–4 courses per term to remain in good standing.
SOAR’s flexible structure supports accelerated progress while maintaining the quality and rigor of accredited university coursework.

Self-paced learning means you can dedicate an intense week or weekend to your studies and then step back during work or family commitments. As long as you meet the minimum required courses each term, the pace is entirely yours to control.

Yes, Cornerstone University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). SOAR™ degrees and certificates are offered by Cornerstone University through its mobile learning platform.

SOAR™ courses are developed by Cornerstone University faculty who are academic and industry experts in their fields. Each course builds on an existing Cornerstone University curriculum, ensuring academic rigor while being adapted for SOAR’s fully mobile format. Course content is refined and enhanced to align with SOAR’s innovative structure, maintaining high-quality learning in a flexible, accessible format.

Per 4–month term, tuition is $2,400 for associate and bachelor’s degrees and $3,750 for master’s degrees (before grants or scholarships), which is less than half the national average cost of an online degree from a private college. With our subscription-based format, students can complete as many courses as they like, paying the same flat-rate tuition each term — there’s no overwhelming debt.

SOAR™ certificates are designed to be completed in one 4-month term, and are priced accordingly ($2400 for undergraduate certificates and $3750 for graduate certificates).

Students can transfer up to 75% of the degree requirements. Enrollment counselors can assist in evaluating which courses are eligible for transfer.

SOAR™ certificate credits also transfer directly toward select Cornerstone degrees if you choose to continue your education.

Financial aid is available to SOAR™ students. To apply, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list Cornerstone University (002266).

SOAR™ certificates do not qualify for federal financial aid, but employer scholarships and discounts are available.

Cornerstone’s experienced faculty and advisors understand that busy students need support. Our team walks with students throughout the program, and once enrolled, each student will be assigned a professional student success coach for the duration of their educational journey. Faculty offer timely feedback to keep students on track, working closely with academic success coaches to monitor progress, address challenges, and provide counsel when needed. This collaborative approach ensures students receive the guidance and resources necessary to succeed in SOAR’s flexible, self-paced* learning environment.

Students can enroll anytime throughout the year. After completing the application for admission, being granted acceptance, receiving transcripts and filing FAFSA (if applicable), students can begin coursework within 2 weeks.
