If your upcoming high school graduate is anything like me, they might short circuit on ideas when you ask them what they want for Christmas. Or maybe they have already told you exactly what they would like but you want to add a surprise gift this holiday season.

Well, I have created a gift guide full of items your future Cornerstone University student will love (take it from this current Golden Eagle)!

Cornerstone Merchandise

Now, I might be biased, but I think the first thing that is an absolute must-have for your future Golden Eagle is some Cornerstone merchandise. I love stopping into our campus store between classes to see what’s new.

1. T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Sweatpants

Cornerstone’s campus store has some in-store exclusive items and an extensive online website. Our apparel line features cozy sweatpants and sweatshirts that come in different styles like crewnecks and hoodies.

2. Drinkware

Every time I get a new water bottle, I convince myself that this time will be different and I won’t lose it under the passenger seat in my car—I always do though. If your student loves and loses water bottles, or collects mugs like I do, drinkware can be a great present. Gift your student a new addition to their collection today.

3. Blankets

Another cozy option is a Cornerstone blanket. The print for this holiday season is plaid, and luckily we come prepared! The campus store’s limited edition sherpa-lined plaid blanket may just be the best thing for your future college student to unwrap Christmas morning and then stay wrapped in the rest of the day.

Artsy Accessories & Activities

4. EsperanzArt Jewelry

Another great gift idea is EsperanzArt’s line of sustainable jewelry. Made from Tagua nut, Acai berry and Pambil seed (organic materials native to South America), these jewelry pieces have a minimal carbon footprint and are sure to make a lasting impression on your student. Cornerstone students partner with EsperanzArt, a branch of the non-profit End Slavery Ministries Ecuador, by managing some of their operations stateside. These operations vary from managing social media to shooting digital content. All proceeds go directly to empowering individuals in Ecuador who are rehabilitating from experiencing sex trafficking or abuse.

These beautiful statement pieces have a lasting positive impact and are budget friendly!

5. Journaling Supplies

Your student is in an incredibly busy time of life preparing to graduate high school and enter college. Gifting something that encourages them to have down time may be what your kiddo needs to unwind this holiday season and into the new year. Journaling is often a therapeutic form of self expression and is popular among students. This leather bound journal from the Cornerstone campus store is understated and will beautifully support introspective habits.

6. Socks

They say it’s a sign of adulthood when you ask for socks for Christmas. While I hate to admit that I am an adult, washers and dryers do seem to live on a steady diet of socks and I find myself needing new ones more often than I would have thought. CU’s campus store sells socks by Sky Outfitters, an Indianapolis based retailer whose proceeds go toward helping the homeless throughout the United States. These socks aid a worthy cause and also look super cool.

Whatever delights your college student’s holiday spirit, we hope that you and your family will have a blessed Christmas season and a happy New Year!
