What should you say when someone you know experiences a crisis? Join the Billy Graham Response Team at Cornerstone Theological Seminary for a one-day seminar designed to help you respond to family, friends, and neighbors in your community with wisdom, compassion and hope grounded in Jesus Christ.
The goal of this seminar is to equip the body of Christ to share God’s hope appropriately and confidently as we engage with individuals and communities who are experiencing tragedy. This event is intended for lay people, leaders of the Church, first responders and anyone who interacts with individuals in crisis on a regular basis.
Dig into ideas of how to:
- Bridge the clinical with the spiritual.
- Understand that grief is personal — no two people grieve alike.
- Listen well before speaking.
- Respond appropriately with words — and what are inappropriate ways to respond.
