Cornerstone University Partners with Vertex Partnership Academies
Cornerstone University is honored to work with Vertex Partnership Academies, an influential nonprofit founded by Ian Rowe. This new Golden Eagle Partnership offers Vertex Partnership Academies staff and students guaranteed admission to all Cornerstone undergraduate programs — on campus, online, and through SOAR™, the nation’s first fully smartphone-streaming business degree — along with dedicated scholarships and opportunities to collaborate in both the Bronx and Grand Rapids.
“Organized around the four cardinal virtues of Courage, Justice, Temperance and Wisdom, Vertex Partnership Academies provides students with multiple pathways for upward mobility so they can lead self-determined lives of meaning and purpose. This Golden Eagle partnership with Cornerstone University exemplifies that commitment by offering Vertex faculty and graduating students guaranteed access to a wide-range of accredited, world-class undergraduate and graduate programs, so they can realize their God-given potential.”
Benefits of the Vertex Partnership Academies Collaboration
Members of Vertex Partnership Academies will receive the following benefits when applying to and enrolling at Cornerstone University:
- Free Application: All application fees will be waived.
- Guaranteed Acceptance: Members are guaranteed admission to all undergraduate programs offered at our Grand Rapids campus, through our online programs, and in the SOAR™ program. To qualify, applicants must submit an application along with all required admissions materials.*
- Special Scholarship: A scholarship will be awarded to each member who enrolls. The scholarship amount will vary depending on whether the student is enrolled in an on-campus or online program.
- Onsite Support: Cornerstone team members will come to Vertex Academies multiple times throughout the year for admissions events, support for families completing financial aid paperwork, and academic support resourcing.
*Some undergraduate and graduate programs may require additional materials such as recommendation letters, supplemental essays, and/or an interview. Admission to these programs is not guaranteed and must go through the standard admissions review process.
