Cornerstone Freshman Qualifies for USA Track and Field Under-20 Championships

Stuart Stovall, a Cornerstone Track and Field team member, has qualified for the USA Track & Field Under-20 Championships! His hammer toss of 56.27 meters was a personal best and has booked Stovall a trip to Eugene, Oregon to compete for a spot on the Under-20 United States National Team!

Qualifiers for the national team will travel to Lima, Peru for the World Championships taking place from August 26-31. Join us in congratulating Stuart and wishing him the best of luck at the national qualifiers and beyond!

Stovall’s success is the cherry on top of another fantastic season for the Cornerstone Track and Field program. This year has seen eleven All-Americans, five school records broken and 20 conference champions! Congratulations to our Golden Eagles on another exceptional year!
