Is Cornerstone University Accredited?
Yes, Cornerstone University is accredited, providing you with assurances that CU is committed to the continuous improvement of its 65+ academic programs. Each designation shows that the college meets national standards and is held accountable for achieving rigorous educational goals.
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) – has officially reaccredited Cornerstone University as a degree-granting institution through 2032, and has been accredited by the HLC since 1977.
Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) – Only 3% of schools worldwide receive ACBSP accreditation. ACBSP recognizes quality business programs on a global level, accrediting CU in 2019.
Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) – The Michigan Department of Education requires CAEP certification to ensure that specific standards and criteria be met by colleges and universities for graduates to be state-certified.
The Association of Theological Schools (ATS) – consists of graduate schools that conduct academic degree programs to educate in the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines.
The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) – is the sole accrediting agency for social work. Cornerstone is one of less than 700 colleges and universities who meet these criteria.
Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) – Cornerstone University’s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science program has been awarded an industry-leading initial accreditation from CAAHEP.
American Association of Colleges of Nursing (CCNE) – The CCNE ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate programs in nursing and CU degree program in nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
