Jesus: The Way, the Truth & the Life: Cornerstone University’s Theme for 2025/26
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” — John 14:6 (NLT)
Hope anchors us. It gives strength for today and peace to weather life’s challenges. But hope flows from something greater. True and lasting hope comes only through Jesus, the One who is the way to the Father, the source of truth, and the giver of abundant life, according to John 14:6, our scripture theme this year.
In John 13 and 14, we see the disciples wrestling with uncertainty as Jesus prepared them for His departure: “Lord, where are you going? How can we know the way?” Like them, everyone faces seasons of uncertainty — What is my purpose? How do I discern truth in a world filled with competing voices? Who am I becoming? How do I stay anchored in faith when the future feels unclear?
This year, the Cornerstone University community will explore how “the way” is not only a path to salvation but also a life shaped by Jesus’ teachings and example. Following Christ means aligning our thoughts, actions, and relationships with His truth — and reflecting His unwavering relationship with God the Father in how we live, lead, and serve.
Our theme, Jesus: The Way, The Truth & The Life, will guide us inside and outside the classroom as we pursue Jesus as the way to God, the truth that anchors us, and the life that brings abundance. It reflects Cornerstone’s good news gospel mission: equipping students to live and lead in a world longing for redemption.
