Kimberly Korhorn, M.S.N., R.N., serves as assistant professor of nursing in Cornerstone University’s School of Health, Science & Technology. She teaches and mentors students as they develop the clinical judgment, hands-on skills and professional preparation needed for today’s complex health care environment. Her extensive experience in simulation, skills labs and clinical education helps students move from classroom knowledge to patient care.

Korhorn has more than 30 years of nursing and nursing education experience. Before joining Cornerstone, she served as simulation, lab and clinical coordinator at Davenport University, where she led simulation and clinical learning, coordinated clinical placements and mentored nursing faculty. Her clinical experience spans labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, newborn and OB/GYN care.

At Cornerstone, she helps students apply Biblical principles throughout nursing practice — from patient care and ethical decisions to the complex challenges facing health care today — preparing them to serve with professional excellence and honor Jesus Christ through their work.
