Dr. Nathan Archer is an adjunct professor of systematic theology at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Through his teaching, he offers students context and insight into the ways that systematic theology and church history shape the life and doctrine of the church.
Dr. Archer received his Bachelor of Arts from Moody Bible Institute and his Master of Arts from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. In 2015, he received his Ph.D. from Calvin Theological Seminary. His doctoral dissertation was titled “Inscrutable Providence: The Doctrine of Divine Concurrence and the Theology of Charles Hodge.”
Dr. Archer is also the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Middleville, Mich., where he lives with his wife and four children.
