Cornerstone University's music degree is designed for students to combine music with another discipline (e.g., music and business) or to pursue private applied teaching of elementary through intermediate-level students.
As a student in our program, you will receive a broad liberal arts degree, use your creativity to study a variety of topics and tailor your educational experience to include electives that intersect with your musical interests. Here, we recognize and celebrate the musical gifts and accomplishments of high school students. Students interested in participating in Cornerstone's Soli Deo Gloria Honors Band may apply or be nominated for acceptance. Selected students will rehearse and perform a concert with members of Cornerstone University Symphonic Winds.
All traditional undergraduate students complete an academic internship or practicum. This experience helps you explore your calling and gain practical career skills.
