Academic & Sports Camps

Curiosity and innovation don’t have to stop when school breaks for the summer. Cornerstone University offers a number of academic and sports camps for students in third grade to 12th grade! Athletes, musicians, aspiring nurses and creative writers will find themselves right at home with our summer programs while being challenged to build on the skills and knowledge that they already have.

Music Brass Camp

Ready to learn a new brass instrument or advance your current musical skills this summer? Music Brass Camp is open to all brass players in grades 4-12 and will be directed by Cornerstone University faculty and feature workshops with guest artists and educators. The camp includes daily private lessons, music theory/ear training seminars and ensemble playing in large brass ensembles, trumpet ensembles, brass quintets, brass quartets and others.

Camp registration has closed for 2022.

Creative Writing Camp

Creativity matters, and we want to help you create something spectacular. Whether you’re looking to revamp old ideas or explore new ones, Cornerstone’s Creative Writing Camp will provide you with a community space to practice and improve your writing skills. You will have the opportunity to experiment with storytelling in different genres and learn about the publishing and editing industry.

Camp registration has closed for 2022.

Nursing Camp

Do you have a passion for championing the hurt and the sick? Step into the shoes of a nursing student and explore the health care field during Cornerstone’s Nursing Camp! This two-day summer camp is designed for high school students in 10th grade to 12th grade and entering college freshmen.

Sports Camp

At CU, athletics are about more than just the game. It’s about representing Christ in everything we do. With the help of dedicated mentors, summer camp participants can improve their skills and their relationship with Christ as they learn how to integrate faith with athletics through good sportsmanship.

From soccer and basketball to volleyball and baseball, interested students have the opportunity to choose from five different sports camps. While not every sport is offered for each grade, a full list of camp dates can be found on the CU Athletics website.
