Athletics at Cornerstone

Our faith doesn’t end in the classroom. Golden Eagles also take their discipleship, work ethic and community spirit onto the playing field. Cheered on by their peers, Cornerstone University athletes are part of something bigger than themselves, and in all things, they encourage one another to be better—better students, better Christ-followers, better athletes. And with 17 athletic teams, Golden Eagles have plenty of opportunities to show the world who they really are.

Intercollegiate Athletics

Cornerstone is part of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), where students compete on 17 men’s and women’s athletic teams. Our teams have won three national championships and 64 conference championships.

Men’s Sports

Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Track & Field, Volleyball and Wrestling

Women’s Sports

Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field and Volleyball

Champions of Character

Our students’ dedication doesn’t stop at competition—student-athletes also take part in the Champions of Character, a program designed by NAIA to bring sportsmanlike character back in the game. Cornerstone athletes were honored twice for setting the standard in athletic integrity, respect, sportsmanship, servant leadership and responsibility.
