Cornerstone University and Muskegon Community College Strengthen Transfer Partnership
Students looking to earn a bachelor’s degree now have an even smoother path from Muskegon Community College (MCC) to Cornerstone University following the signing of an updated transfer agreement between the two institutions.
Cornerstone University leaders joined their Muskegon Community College counterparts on the MCC campus to formalize the agreement, which helps students make the most of the credits they’ve already earned, simplifies the transfer process and creates clear pathways into eligible bachelor’s degree programs. Together, the two institutions are making radically affordable and radically flexible degree pathways possible for students across West Michigan.

Cornerstone will provide preferred pathways for MCC students to receive generously applied transfer credits in order to provide accelerated pathways towards completion of bachelor’s degrees. Combined with Cornerstone’s commitment to radical affordability — including a historic tuition reset and an undergraduate tuition freeze through the 2027-28 academic year — students can complete their bachelor’s degree with greater financial confidence.
The updated agreement reflects the shared commitment of Cornerstone University and Muskegon Community College to expanding educational opportunities across West Michigan and helping more students achieve their educational and career goals.
