Enrollment Deadline Extended for Fall 2024 at Cornerstone University
Cornerstone University is still enrolling students for Fall 2024. It’s not too late! College can seem financially out of reach and the financial aid process can be stressful. Cornerstone is ready to help whether you have applied already or still want to apply for a fall start. The priority deposit deadline is extended to June 1, 2024 for housing placements and early course registration selections.
Last fall Cornerstone announced a tuition reset for traditional students by 22% and is one of the most affordable private Christian non-profit universities in the nation for both traditional and adult professional students. We know this greater transparency on cost can help students and families as they wade through one of the most complicated years on record for filing financial aid applications.
The Admissions team is expanding its personalized support process to help students navigate the recent Federal Student Aid FAFSA delayed and confusing process that Inside Higher Education called “the bungled FAFSA launch.”
Cornerstone Admissions Counselors are trained on the latest complexities of the FAFSA. The team can be a knowledgeable resource for students and families.
Aid packages are still in process to keep students on track for a fall start. Our financial aid team continues mailing financial aid packages to new students who file the FAFSA and our aid awards are very generous! Our scholarship packages include:
- Academic Scholarships
- Income Need-Based Scholarships
- Expanded Cornerstone Commitment Grant covers 100% of tuition for qualified students
Here’s what students and families can expect if: 1) you have already applied to Cornerstone and FAFSA or 2) you have not yet applied to CU or completed a FAFSA and want to start this fall:
- We have extended our deposit deadlines through the summer to allow traditional and adult professional students and families extra time to make a thoughtful and informed college decision. For residential students, the deposit to ensure housing is June 1, 2024.
- Admissions and Financial Aid have completed one-on-one financial aid counseling meetings for many students who have applied. Understanding everyone’s personal situation and budget needs is essential. Schedule your meeting today at admissions@cornerstone.edu if you have not completed this personal assessment.
- The Financial Aid team has provided a second FAFSA review for many of our families to ensure the accuracy of the current information. Complete your second FAFSA review today to update your latest financial status if you haven’t completed the second review.
- All summer, staff and faculty are available to speak with individuals about academic support, specific major details, campus and spiritual life opportunities and campus residential options. Schedule a campus visit in person any time. We look forward to meeting you!
- Apply today to secure your classes for fall if you have not yet started the process.
- Start FAFSA today if you haven’t done so already. Admissions can help you.
