At Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, we're dedicated to learning, serving and leading through rigorous scholarship and a humble approach to Scripture.
GRTS is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). This membership organization consists of more than 250 graduate schools in the United States and Canada that conduct post-baccalaureate professional and academic degree programs to educate persons for the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines. The Commission on Accrediting of ATS accredits institutions and approves degree programs offered by accredited schools.
Cornerstone University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary are accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The HLC approved Cornerstone for accreditation on April 13, 1977.
The U.S. Department of Education lists GRTS as an approved graduate theological institution.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services approves GRTS for the education of international students.
