At Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, we believe that a seminary education should be accessible and affordable. Below you will find a cost breakdown for our degree programs and the estimated scholarships and grants. Most of our students also qualify for federal financial aid in the form of loans.

Cost Breakdown

Below is the cost breakdown for the 2020-21 academic year. Costs will vary depending on whether you are a full-time or part-time student and which program you select.

The average full-time student (9 credits) can expect to pay per semester: $5655; the average part-time student (six credits) can expect to pay per semester: $3860.

Master of Divinity Degree

The following cost breakdowns are applicable for Master of Divinity students that are not part of the Pirsig Fellowship. Pirsig Fellows receive a 50% tuition scholarship toward the cost of their entire M.Div. program.
