Voting as a Holy Task:
A Special Message from President Gerson Moreno-Riaño

At Cornerstone University, we view voting as a holy task and a stewardship responsibility for Christians.

During his childhood in Colombia, Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño, president of Cornerstone, watched voters dip their fingers in ink, knowing political violence could follow. Those citizens still showed up because something significant was at stake. As a 19-year-old, he became a naturalized U.S. citizen and has voted ever since.

During this election season in Michigan and across our nation, President Moreno-Riaño challenges citizens to practice their civic responsibility and vote in a special video message: God decides the outcomes, but we answer for the opportunity we have been given. Vote.
