Wedding Request

Congratulations on your engagement! Cornerstone University makes its wedding ceremony venues reservable between May and early August for current students, alum, faculty and staff members.

Ceremonies conducted at Cornerstone must reflect the beliefs and practices that are congruent with the university’s confessional statement and should reinforce a sense of connection and celebration of the Cornerstone community. The officiant conducting the ceremony requires approval from Cornerstone.

Venue Options

Wedding ceremonies may be held in either Cornerstone’s Christ Chapel or Pirsig/DeBruyn Chapel.

CHRIST CHAPEL

Christ Chapel seats up to 1,400 guests. Your rental of Christ Chapel includes:

  • Six hours of use in Christ Chapel. These hours are to be allocated toward rehearsal, decorating and the ceremony.
  • Standard audio/visual support (i.e., two lavaliere microphones, one handheld microphone, standard lighting and no projection). Additional AV is available and is quoted separately.
  • Two nearby classrooms for getting ready.
  • Use of lobby and adjacent parking lots.

PIRSIG/DEBRUYN CHAPEL

Pirsig/DeBruyn Chapel seats up to 176 guests. Your rental of Pirsig/DeBruyn Chapel includes:

  • Six hours of use in Pirsig/DeBruyn Chapel. These hours are to be allocated toward rehearsal, decorating and the ceremony.
  • Standard audio/visual support (i.e., two lavaliere microphones, one handheld microphone, standard lighting and no projection). Additional AV is available is quoted separately.
  • Two nearby classrooms for getting ready.
  • Use of lobby and adjacent parking lots.

Wedding Availability

To be eligible to have your ceremony at Cornerstone, you must be a student, alum, faculty or staff member. You may inquire about holding your wedding ceremony at Cornerstone by completing these steps:

  • Complete the Wedding Request form below.
  • Request that your officiant completes the Officiant Application for review and approval.
